Quarry Hill Nature Center: Live Animal Exhibits, Skiing & Hiking
Located within 300 acres of rural park lands in Rochester, MN, Quarry Hill Nature Center is home to over 50 different species of live animals, a 1,700 gallon fish tank, an indoor bee hive, a children's library, and a bird watching room. There are paved and natural hiking trails, as well as a restored prairie, quarry, man-made sandstone caves and a man-made pond for outdoor recreation. In the winter months, cross-country skis and snowshoes are available for rent for use inside the park.The nature center offers hand-on learning in a fun environment for visitors of all ages to enjoy. Prices -Admission is free and open to the public year round. The nature center is also free and open all but four days of the year.
