Heritage House Rochester, MN: Victorian Home Tour & Museum

Take a tour of this storied Victorian home that was built for Eliza and Timothy Whiting in 1875. Stroll through the authentically restored home that is decorated with period Victorian antique furnishing, clothing, and toys to see how life was lived back in the 1800's.
The home was eventually relocated in 1975 to Central Park and is open for tours during the summer months. The Heritage House got its name as it is dedicated to the preservation of Rochester's early heritage.   • When are the visitation hours for Heritage House in Rochester?

    Visitors are welcome to tour the Heritage House Victorian Museum in June, July, & August. Tours are docent-led and are approximately an hour long. Tours are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday's at 1:00 & 3:30 pm or by appointment.

    Unfortunately, due to the era it was built, The Heritage House Victorian Museum was not made with ADA compliance. In order to preserve the home and keep it intact, it has not been made handicap accessible.
